Just days after The Division community was warned they could be banned from the game for exploiting shoddy code comes one doozy of an exploit for Ubisoft's hit game. Due to a bug in the "Competent" talent, players can build up a short burst of obscenely high damage in the 1,000,000-plus DPS range.
If you're currently wandering around the Dark Zone worried about getting blasted by an exploiter armed with a one-shot kill, there is one consolation: The exploit is fairly time consuming. To amass that sort of firepower, a player needs to first equip the talent and then switch back and forth between weapons for a solid five minutes or more. Player "Simplified" shows how it's done on YouTube:

After last week's patch put a halt to speedruns that could potentially throw off the game's balance, there's hope Ubisoft will make a quick fix here as well. Until then, those ban-happy community managers will likely be on the lookout for players crouching behind cars and rapidly swapping between their weapons for ten minutes.

What I've read it actually works for a variety of talents. Saw a video (sorry no link) where the talent that gives cash for headshot kills proc'ed a couple hundred times per kill...Also saw mixed messages in regards to if this works for gear and defensive talents (i.e. stacking damage resistance - unclear if it worked or not).
Also, while it may take 5-10 minutes of weapon switching to get the 1 million damage per bullet, they can do it enough to one shot any player in a much shorter time period via keyboard macros.
So yeah, lots of game breaking bugs and exploits still. Expect no fair fights in darkzone. Assume many players are cakewalking through hardest content with exploits on par with a hacked god mode.

I'm hoping they get their act together before playerbase is decimated and only hackers/glitchers remain. Hoping but not expecting.

I ran into a rogue agent last night and had a Yellow 240 MG emptied whole thing into him and he wouldn't die..

Hopefully, they fix it or it will go the way of Watch dogs..

They patched some of the talent stacking and another of the Falcon lost glitches via hotfix last night. It won't stop outright hacking but should 9hopefully) stop the worst glitch to-date.

Did watchdogs have a lot of hackers in the multiplayer (er...actual hackers, not game lore hackers...)

WatchDogs was just plain out dissapointing. So much potential but a really bad multiplayer integration, lots of bugs. Not sure about hackers (ironic since the game was all about hacking into stuff).

I am about to loose my patience with "The Division". Looks like the game is going backwards with every patch so far. On the other hand, games like "Desiny" had similar problems in the beginning AFAIK. We'll see. Maybe I'll take some sort of a break and get back to it later. Still want / need to finish "Falcon Lost" Incursion. S tough to find a good group of randoms who's not fucking it up every given time. I wish more people I know would still play it.

I still play; just let me know when you want to; come check out GTA V Sumo which we have been playing it's fun as hell and everybody seems to really enjoy it; gives lots of laughs which IMO all of us could use more of.
