Question for some of you folks that know more about this stuff than me. What do you think of Windows 10? I continue to get the obnoxious pop-ups to upgrade fro free every time my computer boots up. But when I looked into it originally there were a lot of concerns regarding privacy and Microsoft's actual motivations regarding how much control you were handing over to them in terms of what they could do with your system and info (forced updates, remote tracking of installed hardware/software, etc....not sure how much of it was tin foil conspiracy theory). Also concerns about how well it ran with games. I have no serious complaints with my current Windows 7 OS since it seems to run everything I care about just fine (probably the most stable OS I can recall using to-date) so is there really any reason to upgrade? Should I continue resisting the man"? Thoughts from the IT crowd??

I have no need, at this time, to update from a perfectly running Windows 7 to an unknown Windows 10. I know the problems some got updating have been resolved or worked through, but for me...if it runs good then its good.

I don't want the headache of trying to fix something that's not broke.

I've used Windows 10 from day 1.

Never had any problem. I like it.

I find it is faster to load than windows 7, and it does have some very nice features;

Think windows 8.1 met windows 7 and they created 10...

the tiles are kinda cool and you can remove or keep what you want; lots of things

so, yeah I haven't had any real problems

You must not remember the first few days.

I too will be waiting on the Windows 10 update. Seems that every time Windows puts out a new version, it's still in what I would classify as the alpha stage. I like to give them time to work out the bugs. Eventually they will, and then they will have a nicely polished operating system.

I bought it on day one, not a big deal; new things to fit the PC and tablet crowd; settings to be set other than that it hasn't been an issue; upgrade or don't worry about doing so.

I haven't seen any "bugs" that you speak of; what are they?

You mean the issues with your microphone in the first few days?
